Maxime MISSERI

Ph.D in geology from the University of Nantes in 1982, he was a professor-
researcher in mineralogy at the university from 1982 to 1986, business manager from 1986 to 1990 of a company specialized in hydrogeology and water treatment; from 1990 to 1996, project manager in the general management of the CESI group (management of 11 European projects), deputy general manager and development manager since 1996 in companies specialized in the search for asbestos in materials and in the air. He was trained specifically in asbestos testing by Dr Mc Kee of Ameri Sci in Richmond in December 1996. He has supervised the setting up of several laboratories in Europe specialized in asbestos testing with the implementation of their quality system. In this field, he is a technical assessor for European accreditation organizations. Represented the SYRTA (union for the removal and treatment of asbestos and other pollutants) at AFNOR, from 2005 to 2015. He represents AFNOR since 2006 in working groups concerning asbestos at ISO. From 1991 to 1996, he advised ministries and companies in France and Europe on environmental training. Since 1971, he has carried out expert assessments for companies, particularly large industrial groups, on the protection of water resources, legionella risk and asbestos risk. He has carried out technical expertise in support of legal experts (as a sapiteur) on cases concerning asbestos or the environment. He has been audited as an expert on asbestos by the ANSES for fine asbestos fibres, tremolite talc and elongated mineral particles of interest.

Thibault CLAIRE

Having a Master's degree in geology from the University of Rennes promotion
2002, he has been specialized in asbestos research since 2003. He is competent in all technical areas of the asbestos laboratory (strategies, sampling, preparation and analysis by optical and transmission electron microscopy) and is also staff trainer. He has been the director of a sampling and analysis laboratory from 2013 to 2015 and has participated in the development of numerous French standards and reference texts, particularly in the field of asbestos. He is a technical assessor for an accreditation body in Europe.

Patrick BONTEMPS

He has a Master's degree in geology, obtained at the University of Clermont-
Ferrand in 1997. Specialized in asbestos research since 1997, he is competent in all technical areas of the asbestos laboratory (strategies, sampling, preparation and analysis by optical and transmission electron microscopy) and is also staff trainer. He has been the director of a sampling and analysis laboratory since 2000, as well as quality manager of an analytical laboratory from 1999 to 2011 and from 2013 to 2019. He participated in the development of numerous French standards and reference texts, particularly in the field of asbestos. He also participated in the implementation of the sampling and analysis protocol for the asbestos campaign of the French Labour Directorate. He was President of the Technical asbestos committee of the Union of Building Health Laboratories (ULSB). He was interviewed in 2010 as chairman of the ULSB's technical asbestos committee by the Haut Conseil de la Santé Publique (High Council for Public Health) before the new asbestos regulations were introduced. Finally, he is a technical assessor and member of the accreditation commission for a European accreditation body.

He is competent in all technical positions in the asbestos laboratory (strategies, sampling, preparation and analysis by optical and transmission electron microscopy) and is a trainer of personnel. He has been the director of a sampling and analysis laboratory since 2001 and used to be quality manager of an analysis laboratory from 2002 to 2010.
